Abide as the Self — Ramana Maharshi’s Simple Teaching

Ramana Maharshi didn’t give complex techniques or rituals. His path was simple, direct and silent:

“Be as you are.”

When asked how to attain Self-realization, he often said:

“There is no reaching the Self. You are the Self already.”

The only obstacle is the belief that we are the body-mind. Through self-inquiry — asking “Who am I?” — that belief begins to dissolve. What remains is pure awareness: unchanging, unmoving, always present.

“Your own Self-realization is the greatest service you can render the world.”

Ramana emphasized effortless abidance. Not struggling, not seeking — just turning inward and resting as the formless witness.

Right now, drop all labels, roles, and thoughts for a moment…
What remains?

That silent presence…
That is You.
